About Pax Bonum

Pax Bonum was founded on 10 April 2017 the mission to be messengers of Christ’s peace and goodwill for our priests – a place for them to turn when they are struggling. Pax Bonum founders had come to the realization that, as one of our founding board members put it, “Our priests are there for us, we need to be there for our priests.” As Pax Bonum began its ministry, it was quickly realized that 85% of the priests we were interacting with were not in “crisis” but simply worn down by the many challenges facing them. In response, Pax Bonum has begun an outreach program to raise awareness among the People of God of the profound need their priests have for their prayers, support, and encouragement.

About Our Logo

Pax is Latin for “Peace” and Bonum is “Goodwill.” Our logo depicts the “P” of Pax superimposed by an “X” to create the “Chi-Rho,” an ancient Christian symbol using the first two letters of “Christ” when written in Greek, which is then joined to the “B” of Bonum. Our organization is rooted in Jesus Christ, His Peace and His Goodwill which are inseparable. By “providing His unconditional love” we are “bringing Christ’s Peace and Goodwill” to those we serve.
